THE LAST SCALE
Twenty-four years ago, the Dragon Queen Seraphyne was hunted by King Malcor’s army. She transformed into human form and left her infant at the doorstep of a blacksmith’s shop before luring the soldiers away, eventually dissolving into scales amidst the rain. Malcor kept her final scale and ordered that the infant be raised in chains.
