Data and purposes
We use account details and email for authentication; watchlists and viewing progress to resume playback; device, session, IP, and error data for service operation and abuse prevention; and messages sent to customer support. For paid services, we process customer and transaction references, subscription status, and entitlements to manage purchases, renewals, and refunds.
Reasons for processing
We process data as necessary to perform the service contract, comply with legal obligations, and pursue legitimate interests in security and troubleshooting while considering your rights. Where consent is required, we obtain it before processing and allow it to be withdrawn.
Providers and payments
Hosting, authentication, database, email, and media providers process information needed to operate the service. Web payments, when enabled, use Stripe-hosted checkout; card information is entered directly with the payment provider. Do not email card details to our team. Stripe and app stores may process data under their own policies for payments, fraud prevention, and legal compliance. We may disclose information where legally required or necessary to protect rights and safety.
Cookies and device storage
We use cookies for authentication, language preferences, and media access, and device storage to identify a playback device. Blocking necessary storage can prevent sign-in or playback. If we introduce marketing or analytics cookies requiring consent, we will request it before enabling them.
Retention and international processing
Account and viewing data are retained as needed for the service. Account deletion may not remove accounting, payment, dispute, or security records needed for legal obligations or legal claims. Backups expire according to provider retention cycles. Providers may process information in Singapore and other countries, subject to safeguards required by applicable transfer laws.
Your rights and security
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, a copy or portability, objection or restriction, and withdrawal of consent. Contact us from your account email for identity verification. We will explain the process and respond within applicable legal deadlines. You may complain to the relevant supervisory authority. We use transport encryption and access controls, but no system is completely secure. Guardians can request review and deletion of a minor’s data submitted without permission.
