The terms for using the Yelzi app and website: accounts, kids profiles, content ratings and the 18+ check, acceptable use, ads and the governing law.
About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Yelzi (“we”) when you use the Yelzi app or the website yelzi.com (the “service”). By using the service you accept these terms.
How we use your personal data is set out in the Privacy policy, and the website's cookies in the Cookie policy
The service
Yelzi is a service for watching short vertical series. The first episodes of each series are free. On the website you can watch the free episodes only; the rest are in the app.
The series available may differ by country, and we may add, change or remove series according to the rights we hold from their owners.
Your account
You can watch without an account, or sign in with Google to create one. The person who creates the account is its owner, can have up to 5 profiles and can set a PIN on a profile.
Keep your Google account and your signed-in devices secure. You can see and sign out other devices in Me › Account and devices. If you think someone else is using your account, sign out all devices and tell us.
Children and kids profiles
You must be at least 13 to create an account (or older if the law of your country or the app store's rules require it), and a minor needs a parent's or guardian's permission.
Children use Yelzi through a kids profile that a parent creates in their own account. A kids profile shows only All-ages and 13+ series and has no ads. The parent is responsible for the account's profile settings and PINs.
Content ratings and the 18+ check
Every series has a rating: All ages, 13+, 16+ or 18+. A series without a rating counts as 18+. Each profile has a maximum rating and does not see series above it.
18+ series are for people aged 18 or over only. On the website, before an episode of an 18+ series plays, we ask you to confirm that you are 18 or over, and remember that in the browser for 30 days without storing a birth date. A false confirmation breaks these terms.
Acceptable use
The service is for personal, non-commercial viewing. You must not:
- record, download, copy or redistribute the service's videos, subtitles or images
- get around episode locks, country limits, ratings, the age check or content protection
- use bots, scripts or automated tools to scrape data or create fake views or ad views
- reverse-engineer, modify or interfere with our app, website or servers
- sell or rent access to your account
Intellectual property
The series, videos, images, names and the Yelzi marks belong to us or to those who license them to us. We give you a personal, revocable, non-transferable right to watch the content through the service; no ownership passes to you.
Ads
Free episodes may show ads before or during an episode. Kids profiles have no ads. Ads belong to the advertisers, and links in an ad may take you to third-party websites we do not control. We do not give your personal data to advertisers.
Stopping and suspension
You can stop using the service at any time and delete your account in the app (how to delete your account). We may suspend or end access for an account or device that breaks these terms, or to protect other users and the service.
Liability
We work to keep the service running and correct, but it is provided “as is” and may pause for maintenance or for reasons beyond our control. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect loss from using the service. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under consumer protection law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Thai law, and disputes go to the Thai courts, unless the law of the country where you live gives you more rights.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. We will update the date and version at the top and tell you in the app or on the website before an important change takes effect. Using the service after that means you accept the new terms.
